Using the calculator

How do I check a breeding result?

Choose two different breedable Pals and select Calculate child.

Can I find parent combinations for a target Pal?

Yes. Use Target → Parents and choose the Pal you want.

Why can’t I choose the same Pal twice?

Same-species breeding is not available in this calculator.

Data and results

How are results calculated?

The installed special-combination table is checked first. Otherwise, the current release formula selects an eligible base-species result.

What do release labels mean?

Game version, dataset version and last checked identify the local release used for a result.

Why might a result change later?

Game updates and later data reviews can change a release.

Guides and availability

What are Breed Guides?

Focused pages for selected targets after their combinations and guidance are reviewed.

Why is there no guide for every Pal?

Empty or speculative guide pages are not published.

Is this an official calculator?

No. Pal Breed Online is a fan-made planning tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Pocketpair.

Does the calculator collect my selected Pals?

No. Calculator choices stay in your browser and are not sent to an application service.
